I booked a private 7D6N Bhutan Tour with DrukAsia after searching online — which, to be honest, wasn’t easy. There are so many tour operators and guides out there, and it’s hard to know who’s the best fit for you. Luckily, Sangay was very helpful and responsive to all my queries, and happy to personalise my itinerary.

We had a great 8-day introductory tour of Bhutan, accompanied by a very welcoming, well-informed guide (Tashi Tobgay) and a very steady driver (Yeshi Tenzin Dori). We felt that we were in very good hands. And Druk Asia was great from the get-go, with very thorough pre-trip planning and pre-arrival preps - everything went very smoothly. 100% recommend.

Bhutan is amazing! I love wide, open spaces and I found them in Bhutan. I tried not to sleep during the car rides so I wouldn’t miss a single view. I was walking and hiking for the most part of my trip and I unexpectedly enjoyed it. It was freeing to walk among the trees, see the fields and the cranes and enjoy the cool weather. I love Phobjikha valley most of all, the trail was easy but the view was awesome. I took lungfuls of air and felt my worries disappearing. Am already looking forward to my next trip to Bhutan. Have I told you that I also had the pleasure of being with two super kind and patient Bhutanese men? Choki and Doji as guide and driver, respectively, took good care of me and I appreciated Bhutan even more because of them.

Went on a 7D6N with Drukasia/soul trips. At the enquiry and booking stage, Ugyen was super helpful, responsive, prompt in updating us on the visa application, etc For the trip itself, our guide (Chencho) and driver (Kuenga) were very professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful (and fun!) from beginning to end. Whenever there were tweaks to the official itinerary due to various reasons, Chencho made sure to have an open discussion with us. He also planned fun and unique experiences out of his initiatives, that were beyond touristy experiences, after hearing about casual comments on what we liked to do. Kuenga is a patient driver, expert in manoeuvering the long, winding mountain roads safely, always trying to make sure we are comfortable.

From the moment we stepped onto Bhutanese soil, our guide Tshewang Dema and driver Dashi Penjor made us feel we were in the safest and most capable hands. Their professionalism, warmth, and calm presence gave us immediate confidence that we were well taken care of. Bhutan in winter is breathtaking — crisp air, serene landscapes, and stunning scenery at every turn. Tshewang’s explanations at each destination were filled with passion and deep love for her country, which brought every place and story to life in a very meaningful way.

Before settling on Druk Asia, I’d contacted several other travel agencies, but most lost interest after a few initial questions and eventually stopped responding. In contrast, Ugyen from Druk Asia was consistently engaged—often replying late at night or over the weekend—and always addressed my queries directly, without any pushy sales tactics. I genuinely appreciated the clear and honest communication.

Our family had a great trip to Bhutan. Our guide Tshering Dorji has done amazing job in introducing the beautiful kingdom of Bhutan to us. Dorji was very knowledgeable and took great care of us throughout the trip. Our driver Min Du also did a good job in ensuring that we arrive at our destination safely and promptly. We enjoyed our daily hikes and visits to Bhutan's cultural sites. We particularly like the Lungchutse hike, Gangtey nature trail and hike up to the famous Tiger nest. I appreciate the special arrangements made for us to visit the historical Zuri Dzong which is not the usual site for most tourists. Dorji also made a good call for us to start the climb to Tiger nest early in the morning so that we could avoid most of the crowd and do the hike at a leisure pace.

Fantastic trip! Yongko is a fantastic guide! We had an incredible experience and would recommend visiting Bhutan to anyone wishing to experience something especially and delightfully unique.

My mother and I had the most incredible 7-day tour in Bhutan, thanks to our exceptional guide, Namgay, and our wonderful driver, Kinga. They both added so much heart and meaning to our journey, and we truly couldn’t imagine experiencing Bhutan without them. Namgay was extraordinary. He was attentive to every need, communicated clearly, and shared his deep knowledge of Bhutanese history, culture, and Buddhism in a way that was engaging, warm, and easy to understand.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Bhutan. It truly is a stunningly beautiful country and made even more accessible by our SoulTrip guide, Yeshey and our driver Leki. Yeshey must be the best guide in Bhutan! She knows everyone and that made for an extra special experience. At every place we visited Yeshey was able to provide background and context and we certainly made the most of her knowledge and experience.

We have had the most amazing seven days in Bhutan on Druk Asia's tour. Can't thank the staff enough. Sonem for organising it all and also helping out when our connecting flights were cancelled and above all to our amazing guide Ugyen and our driver Kayzan for making us feel welcome, comfortable and having a great laugh with us all the way.

Just got back from a 14 day trip in Bhutan with my Dad and it was an incredible experience. We traveled through valleys and hills, visited beautiful monasteries, hiked up to Tiger’s Nest, and even stayed in local homes. The homestays and meals we shared with families were such a special part of the trip and gave us a real sense of Bhutanese life. The country is peaceful, the food was great, and the people were so warm and welcoming.

Absolutely wonderful 6 night trip Thimpu, Punakha and Paro Tiger Nest - our guide Choki Wangchuk was excellent at all times, a very interesting person very knowledgeable and his culture and Buddhism, good fun and very solicitous especially in the tigers Nest hike. Our driver Kezang very skilled on rough roads and also fun. Sangay in the office was very good at organizing the trip and visas. I would give Druk Asia 6 stars if I could. Thanks guys

Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Sangay Dorji for the perfect 07 days itinerary to discover breathtaking Bhutan. I’ve visited Bhutan on 02-08Oct, planned to witness the important Thimphu Tshechu Festival and it was a rich blend of spirituality, vibrant performance and community spirit. Secondly, I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to my personal and professional cultural guide Mr Yongko Dorji and Mr Tshering that possess excellent driving skills.

Our group of three had an enjoyable trip in Bhutan booked through Soultrips. Sangay who helped us to organised the trip, was very responsive and attentive to our needs through email communications. The trip itself was truly memorable thanks to our guide and driver, Yongko and Leiki. Leiki is an excellent driver who kept us safe on the roads. Yongko is a very knowledgeable guide. He was able to explain and tell us stories of Varjayana Buddhism that was interesting and allowed us to get closer to the amazing religion. Otherwise, a statue would just be a statue that you see in the many temples in the country. Ask for this team of guide and driver (Yongko and Leiki) if you are considering going to Bhutan and wish for an enlightening journey.

I had a wonderful 7D6N in Bhutan all thanks to the team from Druk Asia / SoulTrips. I had planned for a solo trip to Bhutan, and after some searches, I chanced upon several reviews with Druk Asia which eventually led me to reach out to them and book a tour with them. All I can say is, it was the best decision to do so! Everything was seamless, from the communication with the Travel Specialist (Ugyen Dema), to the planning of itinerary, and the booking of the whole package. She was very patient and helpful throughout my conversations with her via email, and she was very prompt in replying to my queries too.
